How to create a newsletter for a LinkedIn business page?

The professional social network announced, in a post, its desire to further extend the creation of newsletters on its platform. Thus, LinkedIn plans to allow pages with more than 500 subscribers to offer their newsletter and, thus, to create an appointment with their community. “Newsletters can be a great way for brands to announce exciting product launches, share thought leadership, or highlight company news through a series of LinkedIn articles,” the social network says.

How to create a newsletter from your company page on LinkedIn

Similar to how users in creator mode can create newsletters, here's how to do it for LinkedIn Company Pages:

  1. Go to the business page you manage,

  2. Select Write an article,

  3. Click on Create newsletter,

  4. Fill in the required fields: title of the newsletter, publication frequency, description of the newsletter, an image or logo for the newsletter,

  5. Click Done.

Note that LinkedIn allows the creation of only one newsletter per company page.

Enable companies to develop and strengthen their communities on LinkedIn

Offering company pages the possibility of creating their own newsletter was one of LinkedIn's priorities in 2022. The platform, which already offers pages the possibility of writing articles in order to share long and engaging content, adds to this approach the creation of newsletter. A new way for organizations to build communities around topics that matter to their customers, through regular content that Page members can subscribe to.

LinkedIn newsletters for Company Pages have 3 key benefits:

  1. Generate immediate reach: a notification is automatically sent to subscribers of a page as soon as a newsletter is created,

  2. Keeping a community engaged: subscribers to a newsletter receive a notification on the platform and by email when new content is published,

  3. Communicate thanks to a free native solution: LinkedIn makes it possible to easily share, write and publish long and substantiated content.
